Due to work in progress, the toilets in the Pineta are temporarily closed. The closest toilets of the area are on the ground floor of the Royal Palace.
The Court Theatre is closed on December 13 due to the participation of museum staff in the national strike
Two special openings on Tuesdays to visit the Reggia di Caserta even during the Christmas holidays.
On the mornings of Tuesday 24 December and Tuesday 31 December, the Museum of the Ministry of Culture will not observe the usual weekly closing day, opening the doors of the Royal Palace to visitors from 9.30 to 13.00, with last access at 11.45.
Will be open: the ordinary route of the royal apartments; the Vanvitelli Halls, in the back rooms of the Hall of the Guards of the Body; the exhibition “The Crown of King Charles of Bourbon” in the back rooms of the Throne Room; the Lucio Amelio Hall; the Palatine Chapel; the Grand Gallery with the exhibition “Metawork – Michelangelo Pistoletto at the Reggia of Caserta”. The Court Theatre, the Royal Park and the English Garden were closed.
The visit ticket on 24 and 31 December costs 12 euros (+1 euro of advance sale online on the ticketone platform) and discounts as per law.
