The Royal Palace of Caserta is committed to making the Museum more welcoming and inclusive. Its goal is to guarantee full access to the Vanvitellian Complex for everyone and facilitate the enjoyment of its spaces and cultural contents. Find here all the information for an accessible visit.

Here are the paths to reach the two entrances of the Royal Palace of Caserta: Piazza Carlo di Borbone and Corso Giannone.

Please note that to access the Museum you must obtain a ticket either by booking online, or by purchasing it at the ticket office. Remember that the only ticket office of the Royal Palace of Caserta is in Piazza Carlo di Borbone.

There are two possibilities:

• Piazza Carlo di Borbone, with preferential access for the disabled persons, and mandatory access for holders of ArteCard. Entrance suggested in case of arrival in the city from the railway station of Caserta. From here you can access the central gate of the Royal Palace. It is not allowed to enter by bicycle.

• Corso Giannone. From here you can directly access the Royal Park. From Corso Giannone you can enter by bicycle. Remember that there is always the possibility to use the bike rental service at the entrance of the Royal Park (Palace side).

Starting October 1, 2026, the ticket office at the Corso Giannone entrance will also be operational. It is open daily, except on Tuesdays (the Museum’s weekly closing day). “Reggia Card” subscriptions cannot be purchased at the Corso Giannone ticket office, nor can tickets be collected there for free-admission days (these are distributed exclusively at the Piazza Carlo di Borbone ticket office). ArteCard tickets cannot be collected there either; ArteCard holders must go to the Piazza Carlo di Borbone ticket office.

Corso Giannone ticket office hours:

January: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
February: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
March: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
April to September: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
October: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
November and December: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM.

The entrance from one or the other access does not imply limitations to the tour.

Please note that access is not allowed at a time other than that indicated on your ticket. We suggest not to go to the entrance too early to avoid waiting outside, here all the info.
