The Royal Palace accessible to all

The Royal Palace of Caserta is committed to making the Museum more welcoming and inclusive. Its goal is to guarantee full access to the Vanvitellian Complex for everyone and facilitate the enjoyment of its spaces and cultural contents. Find here all the information for an accessible visit.

Here are the paths to reach the two entrances of the Royal Palace of Caserta: Piazza Carlo di Borbone and Corso Giannone.

Please note that to access the Museum you must obtain a ticket either by booking online, or by purchasing it at the ticket office. Remember that the only ticket office of the Royal Palace of Caserta is in Piazza Carlo di Borbone.

There are two possibilities:

  • Piazza Carlo di Borbone, with preferential access for the disabled persons, and mandatory access for holders of ArteCard. Entrance suggested in case of arrival in the city from the railway station of Caserta. From here you can access the central gate of the Royal Palace. It is not allowed to enter by bicycle.

  • Corso Giannone. From here you can directly access the Royal Park (we recommend the online booking of the ticket as in this access there is no ticket office). From Corso Giannone you can enter by bicycle. Remember that there is always the possibility to use the bike rental service at the entrance of the Royal Park (Palace side).

The entrance from one or the other access does not imply limitations to the tour.

Please note that access is not allowed at a time other than that indicated on your ticket. We suggest not to go to the entrance too early to avoid waiting outside, here all the info.

Useful Info

  • Once inside the Palace, there will be an elevator for the exclusive use of visitors with disabilities. If you need assistance, please ask the staff at the entrance.

  • You can access the Royal Palace of Caserta from Piazza Carlo di Borbone and Corso Pietro Giannone, 15. Given the distance between the two entrances to the Royal Palace of Caserta, we recommend that you choose yours carefully. Please note that ArteCard holders can only access from the main entrance in Piazza Carlo di Borbone. All those who want to arrive by bicycle, must access from Corso Pietro Giannone, 15.

You'll be able to inquire and ask our staff for assistance at the entrance.
