“Sunrise at the Palace” returns on August 10 and 31.
The Royal Park opens at the lights of dawn to start the day in the beauty of the Vanvitellian Complex
Back, on August 10 and 31, “Dawn at the Royal Palace of Caserta.” A royal awakening in the silence of nature. The Royal Park will welcome visitors from 4:45 am.
As day breaks, in the quiet of the early morning hours, the Royal Palace of Caserta opens its doors for an experience that has now become a ritual of wonder and contemplation.
“Sunrise at the Reggia” is much more than a visit: it is an invitation to get lost in the magic of dawn, among the silent avenues of the Royal Park and the enchanted paths of the English Garden, in the freshness and scents of nature. A unique initiative, which as every year is part of the Vanvitellian Complex Enhancement Plan, to merge emotion and beauty in one of the most iconic places of Italian heritage.
Music and storytelling will give voice to the sunrise at the Reggia di Caserta thanks to music and dance performances that will transform the walk into a multisensory experience. And like any self-respecting awakening, the scent of a sweet breakfast will welcome visitors to the museum’s cafeteria, the Vanvitellian Chancel and the terrace overlooking the scenic Fountain of Diana and Actaeon.
The Royal Apartments will open as usual at 8:30 a.m.
Visitors can purchase the “Sunrise at the Royal Palace of Caserta” ticket on TicketOne or at the venue. It is possible to choose the “Royal Park and English Garden” ticket at a cost of 10 euros (+1 euro for service fees for online purchase), or the “Apartments + Royal Park and English Garden” ticket at 18 euros (+1 euro for service fees for online purchase). Access to the Royal Apartments will not be possible before 8:30 am. Reductions and gratuities as per law. Participation in the initiative is part of the ReggiaCard 2025 subscription. The cost of the ticket does not include breakfast.
Please note that on August 10 and 31, from 4:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., only the entrance in Piazza Carlo di Borbone will be open (the Corso Giannone entrance will be closed). Until 8:30 a.m., there will be no bicycle access and shuttle, golf cart and bike rental services will not be active.
An annual event, double this year, not to be missed for those who wish to enjoy the slow time of sunrise.
